Brazilian jiu-jitsu focuses on taking an opponent to the ground in order to neutralize strength or size advantages. On the ground, physical strength can be offset through proper grappling techniques such as submission holds, joint-locks and chokeholds.
The brand of BJJ taught is by seasoned and knowledgeable instructors who've developed students versed in both Gi (uniform) grappling and 'No Gi' grappling in submissions, transitions and training methods unique to BJJ.
American Kickboxing addresses the "on your feet" aspect of fighting and is heavily focused on a striking response to a confrontation.
MMA is the connective tissue between stand-up and ground fighting. It has evolved into its own unique form of fighting with an emphasis on clinch, fighting off the wall, and transitions from standing to ground and vice versa.
We pride ourselves on the friendly atmosphere and the high level of instruction offered by our coaches.
